Evangelism by Fire

Jesus said that the most important command is to “love the Lord with all of ones heart, mind, soul and strength and the second likened unto it is to love our neighbor as ourselves” (Mark 12:30-31).  Here at Abundant Life, we take this to be the fulfillment of our call here on Earth.  Our utmost priority is to love the Lord with all that we are and this in turn produces a selfless love that reaches out to others with the same love that we ourselves have been loved with by Christ. This simply put is the “Great Commission”.

We make it our aim to re-present Christ through the proclamation of the “Gospel of the Kingdom” (the good news of the current and impending rule of Christ), calling all to repentance (the change of ones mind and value system) from the destructive nature of sin and to faith (the unqualified committal of oneself to God) in God through His Son Jesus Christ.  Being fully convinced that God puts infinite value (His own blood) on the human soul we are compelled by the love of Christ and the reality of eternity to expend ourselves in the business of Heaven and “save souls”.  We believe that it is not a new definition of Christ that the world needs or is looking for but a new demonstration, through people burning with the fullness of the Holy Spirit and while showing forth the transforming power of the Gospel.
